Student Fall 2013 Fashion: What’s in this Season

Now that the last Fall Fashion Week has come and gone, we can finally see the major trends that have trickled down the runway and into our wardrobes.  Thankfully, all these hot, new trends are affordable and practical for students, so we’ll be able to stay in-style and chic! We take a look at the hottest picks of this season:

Crystal Bracelets
Crystal bracelets are this season’s hottest trend. Now that the colder weather of fall is upon us and drab jackets cover our bodies, crystal bracelets are the best way to add some fun and shine to your look. Whether you prefer the more classic, toned down look or the high-shine glamour pieces, there are a variety of crystal bracelets that can accessorize all types of outfits. We particularly like these lola&grace Crystal Bracelets that remind us of the vampire romance of Twilight.

Thigh-high Boots

The season of boots has arrived and it’s time to wear our trendiest pair out!  When it comes to boots, the motto of this year is “The higher, the better”.  Be on the lookout for gorgeous thigh-high pairs that have taken over the runway this year. Not only are they stunning, they elongate your legs and keep you warm under the leather fabric. It’s a great trend to pass on to the colder winter season, and looks so chic with a short skirt.

High Slits

Just because it’s getting colder doesn’t mean that we can’t show some skin! High slits are all the rage right now, adding a little extra sexiness to otherwise long skirts.  The slits are meant to be on the front of the dress, showing one of the most sensual spots of women – the thigh. It’s a tease of a slit, reaching only halfway up the thigh and creating some mystery for the eyes.
Turtlenecks
It’s a perfect combination for this fall season – both practical and glamorous. Turtlenecks keep us warm during those cold days, while still looking chic and stylish. This season’s turtlenecks will come in a variety of deep, beautiful hues and be created from lighter fabric than the usual turtleneck sweaters. Forget the scarf – your neck will be protected from the weather already!

Cute Winter Caps
Cute beanies have become the cool new “it” look this season.  This year’s NYC Fall Fashion Week was full of beanies – from models to spectators! It’s an easy trend to follow, since beanies are a great look for every gal and we all have one lying around at home already. Before you leave the house, put on that cute little pompom beanie you have stashed in your closet, and be the talk of the town.
