Election lottery looms
The general election may be only a couple of days away, but there is growing talk that there might be another one before the end of the year.
A hung parliament, with no-one in complete control, is being widely reported as the most likely outcome of the election. Even the bookmakers have it as a close contest.
Given that muddled backdrop, it is important to work out what your own priorities are, for yourself and your family. But perhaps more importantly it is vital to decide in terms of your own beliefs about what sort of a country you would like Britain to be.
The major parties are working hard to mark out precisely where they stand and just how they are different. Whichever vision you share, it matters that you say so on polling day. Check out this video to get all the information you need.
Voting is not the same as betting on the outcome of the election. It is your chance to influence directly how the country is run. It is a way to lend moral authority to whichever party you favour irrespective of the seat you find yourself in.
Having a bet on the outcome of the election is one thing. Leaving the decision about its outcome to everyone else is something very different.
