Sponsored video: Adidas presents Team GB – Don’t stop them now….
There is nothing like a bit of David Beckham Queen, especially Freddie Mercury’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ to get the adrenaline pumping and Adidas has just released the video above to celebrate some of Team GB’s best Olympians.
I can’t believe that it’s all come to an end. Thankfully we still have our memories and the video above to remember some of the characters involved and the spirit of the games. What was your favorite moment? I have to be honest and say, for me, it was the drama at the mens diving finals where Tom Daly came close to gold, was still so deserving (and ecstatic) to win bronze and then his team threw him in the water!
As you may know, unless you’ve been trying to hide from the games throughout the last few weeks, Great britain did rather well. We came third overall, behind the USA and China, in the medal count (65 total: 29 gold, 17 silver and 19 bronze).
When we checked the records this is the best performance in terms of medals in more than 100 years! Well done Team GB. Also well done to all the Olympians who turned out for the recording. We were very impressed with Sir Chris hoy, Louis Smith, Pete Reed and Victoria Pendleton and the many others who sang, danced and generally fooled around to the Queen song.
Can you believe that song was written by Freddie Mercury back in 1978? Well if watching the video got you hyped enough to download it you can grab it in iTunes here.
