The significance of homework and its ability to improve the quality of learning has been a controversial topic. Nevertheless, homework has been an important tool for learning in the classroom since it enables students to sharpen what they have learned in class. It is considered as a crucial extension of classroom activities. Scholars say that homework should be assigned regularly and evaluated and graded in order to determine the progress of the student.
